Seaview Cottage
Seaview Cottage is in Lamlash. It's next to our house, but you've got your own space. The main thing is the view. You look right out over the bay to Holy Isle. It's good.
It's a two bedroom place, sleeps four. Both bedrooms have their own bathroom, which is handy. Everything's on one level, so no stairs to worry about. There's a proper ramp to the front door too, if that's important.
You can walk to pretty much everything. The village is along the road, so you've got a shop, a couple of pubs, and places to eat. The bay and the beach are a few minutes' walk the other way.
Out front there's a bit of patio and a small balcony upstairs. It catches the sun. You can sit out there with a drink.
Inside, it's modern and straightforward. It's got a three star rating, which feels about right. It's clean and comfortable, but not fancy. There's a woodburner for colder nights, and all the usual things: WiFi, TV, washing machine, dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. We can put a cot and a highchair in if you need them.
For getting out, you're right on the coast. You can walk from the door. The ferry to Brodick on Arran goes from near here. If you want to drive, the Culzean Castle and Country Park is about half an hour south. It's a good day out. Ayr is about the same distance the other way, if you need bigger shops or a cinema.
