2 Northbank Cottages
This is 2 Northbank Cottages in Whiting Bay. It's a single-storey cottage, so everything's on the ground floor. That's good if you don't fancy stairs.
It sleeps five across three bedrooms. There's one bathroom. It's a 4 Star place, which means it's comfortable and well looked after. We've kept the wood burner, which is nice when the evenings get cool.
The kitchen has patio doors that open straight into the garden. The garden's enclosed, which is handy. It's got a table and chairs. You look out onto a field. There's a private path from the bottom of the garden that takes you across the road to Sandbraes Park. That's a big open space with a play area, and it leads right down to the beach. The beach is about five minutes' walk.
In the village, about five minutes' walk away, there's a shop for basics. There's a pub and a restaurant a bit further on, maybe ten minutes. The village also has a putting green and a bowling green. The golf club is there too.
The cottage has parking right outside. You can bring one dog. There's a washing machine, a dishwasher, and WiFi. We provide bedding, and there's a cot and highchair if you need them.
For walking, the coastal path is right there. In about half an hour you can drive to places like Brodick Castle or the ferry to Holy Isle. The National Trust for Scotland has a good page for Arran if you're planning visits.
