Braehead Cottage is in Lamlash, on the Isle of Arran. It's semi-detached, at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac. The front looks out over the water towards Holy Isle. You get a good view from the living room and two of the bedrooms.
It sleeps five. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's comfortable and well looked after. It feels like a cottage but has the things you need, like central heating and WiFi.
You can walk to everything in Lamlash. There's a shop, a couple of pubs that do food, a pharmacy, and a play park by the beach. The pier is close if you want to get the ferry over to Holy Isle. The local golf course is a five minute walk.
The front has a patio with seating. It's enclosed, so it's private. We've got a squirrel that visits the trees there quite regularly.
Inside, there's a woodburning stove for the cooler evenings. There's a dishwasher and a washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and a highchair if you need them.
For things to do, you're in a good spot. The beach is a short walk. You can catch ferries from Brodick, which is about a ten minute drive. The whole island is great for walking. The National Trust for Scotland looks after a lot of the land here, like Glen Rosa and Goatfell. Their site has good walking information.
