Hartholm

Hartholm is a bungalow in Brodick, up on a hill. It’s not fancy but it’s comfortable. You get a private garden and a patio out the back. The main thing is the view. From the living room and the sun room, you look straight out at Goatfell. It's really something on a clear day.

It sleeps six people. There are two bedrooms and one bathroom. Everything is on one level, so no stairs to worry about. It's got a 3 Star rating, which is about right. It's clean and it works.

You're on a quiet street but you can walk to everything in Brodick. The shops, a couple of pubs, places to eat. The beach and a play park are down the hill too. The local golf club is just along the road.

Inside, you've got what you need. There's a washing machine, a dishwasher, WiFi, and a TV. Bedding and towels are included. You can park right outside. We take up to two dogs.

For getting out, you’re right at the foot of Goatfell. That’s the main path up. A bit further afield, you’ve got the whole island to explore. The National Trust for Scotland's Brodick Castle is nearby. Their website is good for planning. The VisitScotland page for Arran has maps and ideas for trips.
