Craegard House is in Corrie, on Arran. It's a detached red sandstone house, so it's solid. You get the whole garden to yourselves. It looks right out over the sea towards the mainland.
It sleeps six. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms. There's a bedroom and a shower on the ground floor, so it could suit someone who struggles with stairs. The main bathroom upstairs has a roll-top bath. The stairs are normal, not too steep. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable and clean.
There's a wood burner in the living room and another one in the kitchen. The kitchen one is nice, makes the place feel cosy. The gardens are big and fully enclosed. There's a flat lawned bit at the bottom, good for kids to run about. There's a utility room and a porch for boots and wet coats.
You're in Corrie village. It's quiet. There's a hotel down the road that does food and has live music sometimes, and a children's play park. Brodick, the main town, is about six miles away for bigger shops.
For walking, you can pick up the path to Goatfell from here. You can often see seals from the windows, and sometimes otters or basking sharks if you're lucky.
Facilities wise: there's parking, WiFi, a TV, dishwasher, washing machine, bedding and towels included. There's a cot and highchair if you need them. No pets sorry.
