Seaview Corrie is in the old part of Corrie village, which people call High Corrie. It's a detached cottage. You get the garden to yourselves. It looks out over the sea to the mainland.
The cottage sleeps four. There are two bedrooms and two bathrooms. It's got a 5 Star rating. It's been done up recently, so everything is in good order. The stairs are unusual, carved like waves. They turn a corner and the handrail is only on one side. Just take your time on them.
The lane up to the cottage is narrow and steep. It's fine to drive, but the last bit before the right fork is a bit uneven. Most people leave a car there and walk the last twenty yards.
Inside, the ceilings are low in the bedrooms, which is normal for a place like this. There's a wood burner in the living room. The kitchen has what you need. The roll-top bath is upstairs.
There's a hotel in the village about half a mile down the hill that does food and has a beer garden. A really good fish bar and deli is a bit less than a mile's walk away. For a bigger shop, Brodick is about six miles.
If you're walking, the path up Goatfell starts near here. There's a golf course at Corrie about five minutes drive away, and a sandy beach at Sannox. The National Trust for Scotland Arran page has information on local walks and gardens.
For facilities: there's parking, a washing machine, dishwasher, wifi, and bedding is included. No pets, sorry.
