Altbeg is a cottage in North Corriegills. It's down a quiet lane, detached. It's stone built, like a lot of them here.
It sleeps six. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms, which is handy. It’s got a 4 Star rating. We redid a lot of it in 2019 so it’s in good shape, but it’s still a cottage with its original features. There's an open fire in the main living room and a wood burner in the dining room. You’ll get hot quickly.
You’re right on the higher coastal path between Brodick and Lamlash. Brodick is about a mile away for shops and things. The beach is about a mile too.
For walking, you just step out the door onto forest trails or the coastal path. Brodick Castle and its gardens are close by. If you drive, you can get to most of the island’s things within half an hour. Lochranza and its castle ruins are up north. The distillery is there too. Shiskine Golf Club is over on the west side.
Facilities: there’s a washing machine, dishwasher, enclosed garden with a BBQ, parking, WiFi, and a TV. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair. There’s a stairgate too. No pets.
