Rivendell
Rivendell is a detached house in Lamlash on Arran. It sleeps eight, with four bedrooms and two bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating.
The main thing is the view, really. It's right on the shorefront. You get a clear look across Lamlash Bay to Holy Isle from the main bedroom, the living area, and the front garden. It's a good view.
Inside, it's an open plan living space downstairs. It's been done up recently, so it's clean and modern. It works well for a group. The stairs are normal, nothing awkward about them.
You can walk to pretty much everything in Lamlash from here. The beach is close. There are shops, a couple of pubs that do food, and restaurants. There's a play park for kids and the golf club is nearby as well.
The house has a washing machine, dishwasher, and WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and a highchair if you need them. There's on-site parking.
For trips out, Brodick is about a ten-minute drive. That's where the ferry comes in and you'll find the castle there. Goat Fell is the big mountain to climb if you're feeling fit. The whole island is good for walking. The National Trust for Scotland looks after a lot of the island, and their site is useful for planning. You can also check Visit Scotland for Arran.
