The Clock Tower
The Clock Tower is in Lamlash, on the Isle of Arran. It's right on the seafront, so you're looking straight out over the bay to Holy Isle. The view doesn't really get old.
It's a two bedroom place, sleeps four. One bathroom. It's got a 5 Star rating, so everything's in good order and it's well equipped. It's modern inside, and they've put a conservatory on the front to make the most of the view. There's a wood burner for cooler nights.
You're basically in the middle of the village. The pub is about twenty paces to the left. Shop is a five minute walk. The bus stops right outside if you want to go round the island without the car.
It's adults only. There's a low wall between you and the beach, so it's not suitable for children. Something to be aware of.
You can park on site. The entrance to the parking area is shared with the neighbour next door, so just be considerate.
For things to do, you've got the local golf course and a putting green. The beach is stony, but it's right there. Good for a wander. The whole island is great for walking. Brodick Castle and Goatfell are a short drive away.
You can bring one dog. Bedding and towels are included. It's got WiFi, a washing machine, dishwasher, the usual stuff.
