The Willows
The Willows is in Brodick on Arran. It's a detached bungalow, so everything's on one level which is handy. You're up the hill a bit, in a quiet cul-de-sac. The view from the front room is the main thing. You get the whole of Goatfell and the other mountains right there in the window. The garden gets the sun and you can sit out there with the same view.
It sleeps six in three bedrooms. There's one bathroom with a shower. It's got a 3 Star rating. It's clean and comfortable, not flashy. The garden is a good size, enclosed. It's safe for kids to run around. There's parking right there.
Brodick is down the hill. It's about a mile to the beach and the shops. The hill back up is steep, so you'll know you've had a walk. Everything you need is in the village: shops, a couple of pubs that do food, a play park, and a golf course.
The house is a straightforward base for the island. You can get to most places on Arran within half an hour or so. Lochranza for the ferry to Kintyre is about a 25 minute drive. Machrie Moor stone circles are about 20 minutes away.
Inside, there's a washing machine, a TV, and WiFi. Bedding is included. There's a bookcase with a lot of books if you need something to read. You can bring up to two dogs. The garden is enclosed but check the gates yourself when you arrive.
