Anchorage Cottage is in Lamlash on Arran. It's a bungalow, detached, so it’s just you. The garden is all the way around it and it’s enclosed, which is good. There’s a big deck at the front, facing east over the bay towards Holy Isle.
It sleeps six. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms, which helps. It’s got a 4 Star rating. Everything is on the ground floor, so no stairs to worry about.
The living room looks out to sea. The kitchen is a decent size. There's a separate utility room and a garden room with a TV.
The beach is about 50 yards down the drive. You can be on the sand in a minute. Lamlash itself is nice. There’s a shop about 500 yards away, and a pub and restaurant half a mile down the road. The village has a golf club and a yacht club.
Arran's good for getting out. You can get the little ferry over to Holy Isle from Lamlash. Brodick is a short drive for a bigger shop. The whole island is easy to explore from here. It's got mountains, forests, coast, all of it. The driving is straightforward.
For facilities: parking on the drive, WiFi, dishwasher, washing machine in the utility. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and highchair if you need them. No pets, sorry.
