Anchorage Cottage is in Lamlash on the Isle of Arran. It's a detached bungalow. The best bit is the decking at the front. It looks out over the bay towards Holy Isle.
It sleeps six, with three bedrooms and two bathrooms. It's a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and well-equipped. Because it's a bungalow, there are no stairs. Everything's on one level.
The garden is enclosed and goes all the way around the cottage. There's a separate garden room with a TV. The beach is genuinely about 50 yards away down a little driveway.
Lamlash itself is a nice village. There's a shop five minutes walk away. A pub and a restaurant are about half a mile. The village has a golf club and a yacht club. You can get the small ferry over to Holy Isle from the pier.
Brodick, where the main ferry comes in, is a short drive. You can be up into the hills at Goatfell or walking the coastal path very easily from here. Arran's good for that. You can see a lot of what Scotland's like without driving for hours.
Facilities wise: it's got a dishwasher, a washing machine, WiFi, and parking on the driveway. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them. No pets, sorry.
