St Brides is a big Victorian house right on the front at Lamlash. It's detached. You look out over the bay and Holy Isle.
It sleeps up to eight people. There are four bedrooms and two bathrooms. Two of the bedrooms are doubles with that view of the island, which is nice to wake up to.
Inside, it's all quite traditional. There's a main living room with a woodburning stove and window seats. It's got games and such. Then there's a smaller room off to the side with a TV and an old Wii console, which is handy if you've got kids.
The dining area is large, so everyone can sit together and look at the sea while they eat.
The garden is at the front. It's a good size and slopes down towards the shore. You can walk straight out.
Everything you need in the village is a short walk away. The beach, shops, a couple of pubs and places to eat, and a play park are all right there.
In terms of stuff, it's got what you'd expect: a dishwasher, washing machine, WiFi, parking for a couple of cars. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a travel cot and a highchair if you need them.
If you're thinking of things to do, the island of Arran is good for walking and cycling. The National Trust for Scotland has a few properties here. You can get the ferry over to the mainland from Brodick, which isn't far. The drive around the island is easy and there are plenty of beaches.
It's a 4 Star place, which means it's comfortable and well-kept.
