Redhurst Cottage
Redhurst Cottage is in Lamlash on Arran. It's a detached cottage, so you're on your own. It looks out over the sea towards Holy Isle. The view is the main thing.
It sleeps five. Three bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's been done up well. The stairs are open and steep. Just watch your step.
The beach is about a hundred yards away. Lamlash has a couple of shops, a few places to eat, and a Co-op. The village is quiet. For a bigger shop or a bakery, Brodick is about a ten minute drive.
The whole island is good for walking. Goat Fell is the big one. Glen Rosa is stunning. The coastal path starts at the door, really. You can get the ferry over to Holy Isle from Lamlash pier in the summer.
If you like whisky, the distillery is in Lochranza, up north. That's about twenty minutes by car. The drive over the pass is worth it.
Facilities: it's got a washing machine, WiFi, a TV, and parking. The garden is enclosed. You can bring two dogs. Bedding and towels are included.
