Redhurst Cottage is in Lamlash, on the Isle of Arran. It's a detached house, so you're on your own. The garden is enclosed, which is good if you have dogs or kids.
It sleeps five. Three bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable and clean. The view from the front looks right out over the water to the Holy Isle.
The beach is about a hundred yards away. It's a proper beach you can walk on. Lamlash has a shop, a couple of pubs, and a cafe. Everything you need is within walking distance.
The whole island is good for walking. Goatfell is the big mountain if you're up for it. The distillery is in Lochranza, about a twenty minute drive north. You can book tours. Brodick Castle is run by the National Trust for Scotland and is worth a look.
Facilities: there's a washing machine, TV, WiFi, and parking for one car on the drive. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring up to two dogs.
