Alt Ardoch House is in Gortonallister, on the Isle of Arran. It's in a row of three cottages, but you have your own garden. The view from the garden is good, over the water to the hills.
It sleeps six. Four bedrooms, one bathroom. It's a 4 Star place, so it's comfortable and has what you need. The bathroom is downstairs, just so you know.
You can take up to two dogs. The garden is enclosed but a determined dog might get out, so keep an eye on them. There's parking.
The village of Lamlash is nearby. It's got a Co-op for groceries, a couple of places to eat, and a pier. You can sometimes see seals on the rocks from there. You can get a boat over to Holy Isle from Lamlash too. It's a nature reserve run by a Buddhist community. The ponies and goats are nice to see.
Whiting Bay is a couple of miles south. There's a small art gallery, a golf course, and a walk through the woods to a waterfall called Glenashdale Falls. The path is good for families.
Inside, it's got a washing machine, a dishwasher, WiFi, and a TV. Bedding and towels are included. The heating and electricity are part of the price.
