Woodlea Cottage 1
This is Woodlea Cottage 1, out in Dippin near Whiting Bay on Arran. It's for two people, one bedroom, one bathroom. Got a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and well set up.
The main thing is the view. We put the living area upstairs so you can see the sea. There are patio doors that open onto a small balcony. You can sit out there. Sometimes you'll see red deer in the field opposite, or dolphins out in the water. It depends on the time of year.
The bedroom is downstairs. It's a good size and you still get a sea view from the window. The bathroom has some Arran Aromatics stuff in there for you.
You're a few miles from Whiting Bay. There's a shop, a post office, a coffee shop, and a pub that does food. There's a beach and a golf club there too. A bit further south is Kildonan. The beach is popular for spotting seals and otters, and there's a hotel with a public bar.
It's a quiet spot. Good if you just want to switch off for a bit.
Things here: there's a washing machine, WiFi, a TV, and parking right outside. Bedding and towels are included. We've got a cot and a highchair if you need them. The entrance is level and the living space is open plan, so it might suit some people with mobility needs, but best to check the specifics with us first.
