Mont Stewart Cottage is in Whiting Bay on Arran. It's a semi-detached place, one of two. We did it up a few years back but kept the old beams and doors. You get sea views from the main rooms.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, two bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable and well-equipped. The stairs are worth mentioning: they're the original cottage stairs, so they're steep and a bit narrow. Just take your time on them.
You can walk into Whiting Bay in a few minutes. There's a shop, a couple of pubs that do food, and a pebble beach. The garden is a decent size, with a patio and a BBQ.
The island is good for walking and cycling straight from the door. For golf, Whiting Bay's course is just up the road. Fishing is popular here too, from the shore or a boat.
If you want to explore, you can drive round the whole island in a day. Brodick Castle is about twenty minutes away. The main ferry to the mainland goes from Brodick too.
For facilities: there's parking, WiFi, a washing machine, a dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair. You can bring up to two dogs.
