Mont Stewart Cottage is in Whiting Bay on the Isle of Arran. It's semi-detached, so you share a wall with the house next door. The garden is all yours, though. It's a decent size.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, both upstairs, and two bathrooms, which is handy. It's got a 4 Star rating. It was renovated a while back, so it's in good order, but they kept the old beams and doors. It feels like a cottage.
The upstairs bedrooms look out over the bay. You can see the sea from there.
Whiting Bay village is a short walk down the hill. There are a couple of shops for basics, some pubs and places to eat. The beach is pebbly. There's a play park for kids.
You're right on the coast for walking. The golf course is just outside the village. For a day out, you can drive to Brodick in about twenty minutes. That's where the castle is and the ferry comes in. The whole island is pretty small, so you can get to most places within half an hour.
As for stuff in the house: it's got a dishwasher, washing machine, WiFi, and a TV. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them. You can bring up to two dogs. Parking is on site, and there's space to store bikes.
