The Kirk at Kildonan is in Drimlabarra, on the south end of Arran. It's a converted church from 1910, so it's an unusual building. You get views out to sea from the main window. The entrance is shared, meaning you come into a common hallway.
It sleeps two people in one bedroom. The bedroom has its own shower room. It's got a 4 Star rating. It’s comfortable and well looked after.
The beach is a couple of minutes' walk down the lane. You can see seals and otters sometimes. There's a big waterfall, the Eas Mor, just along the road too.
There's a woodburning stove for cooler evenings, and it's open plan inside. The owner lives on-site if you need anything. Parking is right there.
You can bring up to two dogs. The garden area is yours to use. It's got things like WiFi, TV, a dishwasher, and bedding is included.
For local information, the VisitScotland page for Arran is useful. The National Trust for Scotland looks after a lot of the island's walks and gardens.
