Ach-Na-Mara
Ach-Na-Mara is in Whiting Bay, on the Isle of Arran. It's a modern bungalow right by the shore. The main thing is the view. You get a clear look at the sea from the living room and the main bedroom.
It sleeps six people. There are three bedrooms and two bathrooms, which is handy. One bathroom is en-suite to the main bedroom. It's a 3 Star place, so it's comfortable and clean but not high-end. Everything works.
The garden at the back is a good size and it's fully enclosed. There's a decked bit with seating and a barbecue. It's sheltered, so you can sit out there even if there's a breeze.
You can walk to everything in the village. There's a shop, a couple of places to eat, and a pub. The beach is just down the road. There's also a play park and a bowling green nearby.
For getting out, you're well placed. The coast path goes right past. You can walk to Lamlash one way or round to Glenashdale Falls the other. The ferry to Brodick is about a fifteen minute drive. Once you're there, you can explore the whole island easily. Goatfell is the big mountain if you're up for it.
Inside, it's got what you'd expect. Washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi. There's a wood-burning stove for cooler evenings. Towels and bedding are included. We can take one well-behaved dog. Parking is right outside.
