Ach-Na-Mara
Ach-Na-Mara is in Whiting Bay on the Isle of Arran. It's a bungalow, so all on one level, which is handy. It sleeps six, and there are three bedrooms and two bathrooms, which helps with the morning queue.
It’s got a 3 Star rating. That means it’s comfortable and clean, not a show home. The main thing is the view from the living room. You look straight out over the water. The master bedroom has a sea view too.
The garden at the back is big, mature, and completely enclosed. There’s a decked bit with seating and a BBQ. You can sit out there and just listen to the sea.
Everything in Whiting Bay is walkable. The beach, the play park for kids, the bowling green, the local pub. You don’t really need the car once you’re here. For supplies, there’s a shop in the village.
On facilities: Wi-Fi, TV, washing machine, dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair. There’s parking on the drive. One well-behaved dog is allowed.
For walking, you can pick up the coastal path right from the door. The whole island is great for it. If you want to explore further, Brodick Castle is about twenty minutes by car, and the main ferry port is there too. The main tourist site for planning is VisitScotland for Arran.
