Southcroft Lodge is in Whiting Bay on the Isle of Arran. It's a detached bungalow, so all on one level. The garden is enclosed, which is good if you've got dogs or kids. You get a clear view over the bay from the front.
It sleeps seven in four bedrooms. There's one bathroom with a walk-in shower over the bath. It's a 4 Star place, so it's comfortable and well looked after. Being a bungalow, there are no stairs to worry about.
You can bring two dogs. There's a woodburning stove for chilly evenings, a dishwasher, and a washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them.
Whiting Bay has a shop, a couple of cafes, and a pub. The beach is shingle. For a sandy beach, Lamlash is about ten minutes drive north. The village golf course is a 9-hole, right there.
You can walk the coastal path from the door. For a bigger day out, Brodick Castle is about twenty minutes drive. The ferry terminal is there too. Goatfell, if you're up for a hike, is in the same area.
