This is Harport. It's a detached cottage in Lamlash on Arran. You get the whole garden to yourselves. The main thing is the view. It looks right across Lamlash Bay, full-on sea view.
It sleeps six. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms. It's a 4 Star, so it's comfortable. It's got a mix of old and new. Two of the bedrooms have ornamental fireplaces, which you don't switch on, they're just a feature. There are open fires downstairs you can use. Big windows everywhere so it's light.
The dining table's by a bay window, so you eat looking at the water.
You can walk into Lamlash village along the coast path in about ten minutes. There's a shop, a couple of pubs and places to eat, a golf club, and a beach with a playpark. Brodick is about three miles further on. That's where the ferry comes in and where you get a proper look at the mountains.
If you're a walker, Goatfell is the big one. The path starts from Brodick. The whole island is good for walking though.
For facilities: it's got a washing machine, dishwasher, wifi, TV, parking. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and highchair if needed. No pets, sorry.
