Goatfell View is a ground floor flat in Brodick, on the island of Arran. It's part of a larger house, but it's self-contained and you have your own entrance and garden area. The main thing is the view. You look straight out over the water towards Goatfell mountain. You can see it from the living room and one of the bedrooms.
It sleeps six people in three bedrooms. There are two bathrooms, which is handy. It's got a 3 Star rating, so it's clean and everything works, but it's not a luxury finish. It's a practical sort of place for a holiday.
You're a five or ten minute walk from the middle of Brodick. That's where the Co-op is, and a few pubs and places to eat. The beach and the golf club are about the same distance. The garden here gets the sun in the afternoon, it's a quiet spot.
If you want to climb Goatfell, you can start from the doorstep. For a less strenuous day, you can get the ferry over to the mainland. The National Trust for Scotland has a few properties on the island worth visiting, like Brodick Castle.
The flat has a washing machine, a dishwasher, and WiFi. There's parking right outside. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and a highchair if you need them. Sorry, no pets.
