Sunnyside Cottage is in Lamlash on Arran. It's one of a row of old cottages, maybe a hundred years old or so. It's been done up inside so it's fresh and clean.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. The main bedroom looks out towards Holy Isle. The bed in there can be a super king or two singles, you just need to let us know beforehand. The other room has twin beds.
There's a living room with a wood burner. It works fine and we leave some logs for you. There's a TV with Netflix if you need it. We've left some board games and DVDs in the cupboard too, from when our kids were younger.
Out the front there's a patio with some reclining chairs. It gets the sun in the morning. The garden is enclosed.
Lamlash is about a fifteen minute walk down the road. There's a co-op for shopping, a couple of pubs, some places to eat. There's a beach and a play park. The bay is sheltered so it's good for paddleboarding or kayaking if you have your own.
For getting out, you're right in the middle of the island. Brodick Castle is about a twenty minute drive north. The main National Trust for Scotland page for Arran has the details. The ferry to the mainland takes about an hour from Brodick to Ardrossan.
In the cottage you've got a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and all the bedding and towels are included. No pets, sorry.
