Sunnyside Cottage is on the front row in Lamlash. It's one of the old miners' cottages that were built over a hundred years ago, but it's been done up inside. It's bright, like the name says. The living room gets good light.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom with a shower. The main bedroom looks out over the water towards Holy Isle. The bed in there can be a super king or two singles. The other room has twin beds. Both have TVs. There's a wood burner in the living room, which is nice on a cooler evening.
You've got a small enclosed patio at the front with some reclining chairs. It catches the sun. Lamlash itself is a five or ten minute walk down the road. There's a co-op for supplies, a couple of pubs that do food, and a chippy. The beach is shingle.
Everything you'd need for Arran is on your doorstep, really. You can get the ferry over from Ardrossan. Once you're here, the whole island is easy to get to. Brodick Castle is about twenty minutes by car. The distillery in Lochranza is maybe half an hour. The walking is the main thing, of course. Goat Fell is right there.
For facilities, it's all there. Washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. No pets, I'm afraid.
