This is 1 Hamilton Terrace, our place in Lamlash. It's right in the village, so you can walk to everything. The cottage is at the end of a row of listed cottages. You look out over the bay.
It sleeps five. Three bedrooms upstairs, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. The stairs are steep, which is pretty standard for these cottages. There's a stairgate at the top.
You've got a small walled patio garden at the side. It gets the sun in the afternoon and is a bit more private than just sitting out front. It's a nice spot.
Everything you need is a minute's walk away. There's a shop, a couple of pubs that do food, and a beach just down the road. The golf club and tennis courts are close.
The kitchen has a dining table and the living room has a wood burner. It's comfortable for a family, especially out of season. The main bedroom faces the sea.
You're on the bus route so you can get to Brodick or further round the island easily. For a day out, you can get the ferry from Ardrossan to National Trust for Scotland places like Brodick Castle. The VisitScotland Arran page has good info.
The facilities are all there: wifi, TV, washing machine, dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and highchair if you need them. Parking is on site. No pets, I'm afraid.
