Tides Reach
Tides Reach is a detached bungalow in Lamlash on Arran. It sleeps six, in three bedrooms. Two have king-size beds and the third is a bunk room. There is a bathroom and a separate shower room.
It's a comfortable, 4 Star sort of place. The main thing is the view. You can see right across Lamlash Bay to Holy Isle from the front rooms. The living area is open plan. It has a wood burner and big windows. There's a deck off the main room, which is good for a sunny afternoon.
You get your own garden and parking for a couple of cars. It's all on the ground floor. There's a washing machine and dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. WiFi is there, but it's an island, so it can be slow sometimes.
Lamlash village is easy to get to. There's a supermarket, a few pubs and restaurants, and a pier where you can get a ferry over to Holy Isle. The local beach is nice. You'll often see seals on the rocks near the shore.
From here, you can get to most things on Arran within half an hour. The walk up Goat Fell starts near Brodick, which is about ten minutes' drive. You can cycle right round the island if you're up for it. Golf courses are nearby. For history, there's Brodick Castle and Lochranza Castle.
