Clachog is in Lamlash, on the Isle of Arran. It's a detached house right in the village, so you're close to everything. It sleeps eight people. Four bedrooms, three bathrooms.
It's got a 5 Star rating. That means it's well looked after and has everything you'd need. The views are the main thing. From the living room balcony and the main bedroom, you look straight out over the pier and Lamlash Bay. You can see Holy Isle. The downstairs bedroom has the same view. You get the morning sun.
The stairs inside are a bit steep. Just so you know.
Out the back there's a private, enclosed garden. It's got trees and some of the original rock. It's not huge, but it's quiet. You can park at the front.
In the village, you've got shops, a couple of pubs, and some good places to eat. They're all a short walk away. There's a children's play park and tennis courts. The ferry over to Holy Isle leaves from the pier. The National Trust for Scotland has a visitor centre here too.
For facilities, it's got a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and TV. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and a highchair if you need them. No pets, sorry.
If you want to explore, the whole island is within a half hour drive. Brodick Castle is about ten minutes away. The mountains and walks in Glen Rosa are about twenty minutes. The ferry back to the mainland is at Brodick, which is just up the road.
