Clachog is in Lamlash, on Arran. It’s a detached house right in the village. It sleeps eight, in four bedrooms. There are three bathrooms.
It’s got a 5 Star rating, which means it’s well kitted out and kept to a high standard. The living room and main bedroom have balconies that look straight out over the pier and the bay. You can see Holy Isle. The downstairs bedroom has the same view. Two twin bedrooms look over the back garden.
The living room has a high, vaulted ceiling. There’s a little mezzanine seating area above it. The owners have left some board games, puzzles, books and toys.
The garden at the back is private and enclosed. It’s got mature trees and the original sandstone rock the house is named after. Parking is at the front, on the drive.
You’re right in the middle of Lamlash. The shop, the pubs, and some good restaurants are a short walk away. The ferry over to Holy Isle leaves from the pier. There’s a kids’ playpark, tennis courts, and a golf club nearby.
For getting out, you’re well placed for the coast and the hills. The main National Trust for Scotland Arran page has good walking information. The VisitScotland Arran guide is useful for general trip planning.
In terms of what’s here: all the bedding and towels are included. There’s a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and a TV. We can provide a cot and a highchair. Sorry, no pets.
