Seacliffe

So, Seacliffe. It's in Dippin, just outside Whiting Bay on Arran. It's quiet here, and you get an open view straight out to sea. You see a lot of sunrises.

It sleeps six, with three bedrooms and one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable, not just basic. The main living area is upstairs to make the most of the view. That does mean there's a flight of stairs to get into the house.

There's a proper conservatory dining room. You'll eat your meals looking at the water. The kitchen has what you need. There's a dishwasher and a washing machine.

You can take up to two dogs. The garden is enclosed, mostly gravel and slate, so easy for them. Parking for two cars right outside.

For getting around, the whole island is easy from here. Whiting Bay village is a couple of minutes in the car, has a shop and places to eat. Lamlash is about ten minutes' drive, Brodick about twenty.

You're right on the coast path for walks. For a beach, Whiting Bay beach is sandy, about a mile away. The mountain biking at this end of the island is good, the trails start near Corrie. If you want a day off the island, the ferry to Kintyre from Lochranza takes fifteen minutes.
