Seacliffe is in Dippin, near Whiting Bay on Arran. It’s a bungalow, so all on one level. The location is quiet and the view from the front is straight out over the water to the mainland. The sunrises are good.
It sleeps six in three bedrooms. There’s one bathroom with a walk-in shower. It’s got a 4 Star rating, which means it’s well-equipped and comfortable. The main dining table is in the conservatory, so you can eat looking at the sea.
The garden is paved, with some furniture. You can park right next to the property. It’s wheelchair friendly at the entrance and everything is on the ground floor. Pets are allowed, up to two.
You’re about a mile from the nearest beach at Whiting Bay. The village has shops, cafes, and a pub. Lamlash is a ten-minute drive south, Brodick about twenty minutes north.
From here you can explore the whole island easily. Goat Fell is the big mountain if you want a proper hike. For something different, you can get the small ferry from Lamlash over to the Holy Isle. The Arran website is useful for planning. The National Trust for Scotland looks after some of the island too, like the Glenashdale Falls walk near Whiting Bay.
Facilities wise: it’s got a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and TV. Bedding and towels are included. There’s a cot and highchair if you need them.
