The Cottage
The Cottage is in Whiting Bay. It's a detached place, right in the village. It's got one bit of private parking.
It sleeps four. There are two bedrooms, one with a king bed and one with twins. One bathroom with a shower. It's a 4 Star place, so it's comfortable and well-equipped. The stairs are fine, they're just normal house stairs.
You can bring one dog. The garden is enclosed, which helps. Inside, there's a woodburning stove in the lounge and a conservatory looking out the back.
There's a shop, a post office, and a couple of places to eat in the village, all a few minutes' walk away. The beach is sandy and a five minute walk down the road.
The Isle of Arran itself has everything. For walks, you can start on the coast path from the village, or drive into Glen Rosa for something steeper. The National Trust for Scotland Arran page is good for that. Brodick Castle is their big site here.
Golf at Whiting Bay Golf Club is right there. The distillery is up in Lochranza, about a 30 minute drive. You can get the ferry from there over to Kintyre if you fancied it.
Facilities include a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and TV. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them.
