The Nook is at Higher Kestle Barn, just outside Mevagissey in Cornwall. It's a ground-floor annexe attached to the main barn. You have your own patio space out the front.
It sleeps four in two bedrooms: one double and one with twin beds. There's one shower room. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's well equipped and comfortable. Everything is on one level so there are no stairs to worry about.
The place is open plan. The kitchen has what you need for cooking. There's a washing machine, TV, and WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair if needed.
You're on the edge of the owners' gardens, which are nice to look out on. It's a quiet, rural spot. You'll hear owls at night.
The local pub is about a mile's walk. Mevagissey harbour is maybe a mile and a half if you take the footpath. It's a proper old fishing village with narrow streets, pubs, and shops.
For a day out, you can walk to The Lost Gardens of Heligan. It's about a 25-minute walk from here. Porthluney Cove is a ten-minute drive; it's a nice sandy beach with a café. Caerhays Castle is there too.
Charlestown, with the tall ships and the shipwreck museum, is about a ten-minute drive. St Austell for bigger shops is roughly the same. If you want to go inland, Bodmin Moor is about half an hour away.
There's parking right outside the cottage. Sorry, no pets.
