Corner Cottage is in Portmellon, just outside Mevagissey. It's part of an old terrace of fishermen's cottages built right into the rocks.
It sleeps six people, has three bedrooms and two bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating. The rooms are comfortable and modern inside, but the position is the main thing. The living room has a wood burner. The kitchen has what you need.
Outside, the sea is right there. At high tide, you can swim off the rocks in front of the cottage. There's a small sandy beach a minute's walk away. Please be aware, the cottage opens directly onto these rocks, so it's not suitable for young children. There's a private terrace, though the lower part is shared with the cottage next door, Mermaid Cottage, which you can also book for bigger groups.
The local pub is a short walk up the road. Mevagissey harbour is about a mile away, where you can get fresh fish or take a boat trip.
You're on the Cornish coast here, so good for walking. The South West Coast Path runs past. For attractions, the Lost Gardens of Heligan are about ten minutes' drive. The Eden Project is about twenty minutes away. St Austell is fifteen minutes, Charlestown a bit less. Further out, Fowey and the ferry over to Polperro are maybe half an hour's drive.
The facilities include a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and a BBQ. Bedding and towels are included. We allow one dog.
