The village is best known for the 13th century church of St Just the Martyr. Overlooking St Just Pool, a tree lined creek and the church is set in an amphitheatre like graveyard filled with an array of colourful sub-tropical plants and shrubs - a botanical project started over 100 years ago. Few places in Cornwall can compare with the Roseland Peninsula, one of the most picturesque and unspoilt parts of the British Isles. Lovely beaches, delightful rivers, plenty of countryside, pretty villages and hamlets all make the Roseland the perfect holiday setting.
