Pilgrims Barn is immaculately presented and has been furnished to a very high standard with beautiful oak furniture, there is a downstairs twin bedroom with en-suite wet room which is perfect for those guests who find stairs difficult. The kitchen is stunning with granite and beech work surfaces and butlers sink and both the living room and the kitchen have exposed roof beams, vaulted ceilings and Velux roof lights. This property has plenty of space to spread out and relax after a busy day exploring the local area. Upstairs you’ll find the comfortable double bedroom along with a shower room.
Hayle is dominated by the spectacular 3 miles of golden sands that stretch north towards Gwithian Towans and Godrevy Lighthouse. A quite stunning beach that offers opportunities for sunbathing and surfing. When the wind is blowing, watch out for the windsurfers, particularly in the waves at the northern end of the beach. This is one of the best windsurfing spots in the country. In the town of Hayle, Paradise Park is always popular with both adults and kids with their fantastic collection of rare birds and animals. There is also a good indoor play area for the kids if the weather gets bad!
To the south lies Mounts Bay and the iconic St Michaels Mount which is one end of an ancient Pilgrims Route which travels across the county to Hayle, Fraddam is the midpoint of this trek and hence is a superb base to explore both coasts. Beach 4 miles.
