There are surf and kite buggy schools available on the beach which is patrolled by lifeguards during the Easter holidays and from May through to October. There have been several attempts to build a harbour in St Agnes, the most recent succumbed to a storm in 1915-16, however, the glorious sandy beaches more than compensate. It is also a walkers heaven being perfectly situated for exploring the coastal paths, the captivating history and the beautiful nearby beaches of Trevaunance Cove and Trevellas Porth at St Agnes and Chapel Porth.
