Welcome to Beccles, a larger-than-average two-bedroom bungalow with parking for two on the drive, ideal for couples and families with children over 5 years old. This is a great location close to beaches, shops, attractions and on a bus route. The property has two double bedrooms, a front room as well as a large dining area at the back, a well-equipped kitchen and a bathroom. The driveway and entrance are flat which makes this ideal for those who have difficulty with stairs and steps. The lawned garden is enclosed, perfect for eating out or having a cup of coffee, or in the evening watching the amazing starry skies. The property has an eclectic mix of furnishings which makes it unique.
Helston is a market town situated on the northern end of the Lizard Peninsula, 12 miles from Penzance and 9 miles from Falmouth, famous for its Furry Dance held usually on the 8th of May to celebrate the passing of winter and the arrival of spring. There is a lot of history which can be discovered at the local museum and by following the Helston Heritage Trail. If you like walking then you will be spoilt by the untouched coastline, walk from Helston to Loe Bar, or for the more energetic follow the circular path around Loe Bar.
For a more sedate pace, wander around Porthleven which is just over 3 miles away, picturesque and unspoilt with a working harbour, surrounded by a choice of cafés and restaurants. The beach is popular with surfers and families who often stay all day and evening enjoying the fantastic views. Just over 11 miles away is The Lizard, the most southerly point of England, well worth a trip close to several outstanding beaches. For an informative trip, why not visit the National Maritime Museum in Falmouth or spend an afternoon at Flambards theme park learning how people lived in Victorian times and what it was like in the Blitz?
