Smithy Cottage

Smithy Cottage is a delightful little property that has been lovingly renovated by the owners and has been tastefully decorated and furnished with all modern conveniences, dog friendly, with excellent accommodation for six including a spacious loft conversion with views of Mounts Bay from the Velux window. The patio garden and conservatory provide a fine venue for some al fresco dining or for a spot of sunbathing if you don’t feel like a walk to the beach. This is an ideal property for a family.
There is a plethora of wonderful beaches nearby - some within a short walk and others within a short drive - some fine Cornish Pubs, some amazing coastal walks, the majestic St Michael’s Mount with it’s tidal causeway, and an abundance of quaint little fishing ports. An ideal base to explore the west of Cornwall and the Lizard peninsula.
Marazion is also a popular destination for windsurfing, kitesurfing and sailing. A number of major sporting events in these fields are held on Marazion’s beaches. Marazion is perhaps more widely famed as being the gateway to the enchanting Saint Michael’s Mount, the jewel in Cornwall’s crown. Saint Michael’s Mount is accessed by a causeway, once walked by pilgrims in honour of the alleged appearance of Saint Michael, which is revealed at low tide. At other times visitors are ferried from Marazion to the Mount in small boats. Beach ¾ miles
