Chupra enjoys a lovely, quiet location in St Mawes, a 5-minute walk up a short hill from the beautiful harbour in St Mawes. Renovated in 2023, with double glazing throughout, it is an upside down house with the living, dining and kitchen upstairs. A large balcony upstairs offers panoramic views across Falmouth Bay to the entrance of the Helford River in the distance. The living area has plenty of comfortable seating and, with the wood burner, this makes a great space for relaxing after a day exploring. The fully fitted kitchen is a dream to use for the budding chef, and there is a large dining table. There is also an upstairs toilet. Downstairs, through an internal door from lobby area, is the bedroom corridor, with a snug seating area and direct access onto the terrace. The en-suite master bedroom has direct access to the downstairs terrace, and there are two further beautifully decorated bedrooms also with direct access to the terrace. The final small en-suite double bedroom lies to the rear of the property. There is also a family bathroom.
In summer, Chupra comes into its own with the lovely big private terrace and garden, a terrific place for all the family to enjoy, with doors leading from the living room and kitchen onto a balcony with beautiful views. Fully enclosed, it becomes a total suntrap and enjoys evening sun until late. It is a great place to enjoy a barbecue! Two private parking spaces can be found 50m away along a footpath .
This is a perfect place for a family or couples’ holiday, a wonderful base to explore the beautiful Roseland Peninsula. St Mawes is a popular sailing centre with weekly club racing, regattas and larger events all summer. The village is also known for the restaurants and pubs that serve superb local fish and shellfish dishes year round. Beach ¼ mile.
