Sea Holly Cottage

A delightful cottage conveniently situated near the Cornish village of Par, with its excellent array of shops, amenities and transport links, including a railway station. It was once a thriving port, where copper, and china clay were shipped far and wide . The dog-friendly beach, with its dunes and caves, is a great place to explore and the coastal path reveals spectacular views and leads on to neighbouring beaches, too.
Sea Holly Cottage has an inviting living/dining room with a very comfortable sofa and seating. The wonderful stone fireplace boasts a wood burner just perfect for when the outside weather is a little less friendly, and provides a place to curl up and relax in front of with a novel or favourite film. The characterful kitchen is well equipped including Rangemaster stove and there is a delightful, small sitting-out area where coffee and breakfast can be enjoyed. Upstairs are two double bedrooms, both with a very traditional cottage feel. There is also a family bathroom with a shower over the bath.
Just a few miles from the iconic Eden Project and beautiful Lost Gardens of Heligan, you are perfectly placed to enjoy beaches, coastal towns and villages and many attractions. St Austell has a range of shops, cafés and restaurants whilst Charlestown, with its Shipwreck Museum and fantastic eateries, is a must visit. Here you can see the small fleet of tall ships, this place being a favourite location for films and TV series.
Along the coast lies exquisite Mevagissey, with its many cottages almost toppling over one another as they look down towards the harbour, or Fowey, where countryside meets the sea and a buzzing little harbour plays host to narrow streets, boutique shops and magnificent views. Beach ¼ mile.
