The city of Truro is only about a 10-minute drive away and has a wide selection of good shops and many other high street outlets. There is also a cinema and a great selection of restaurants, pubs and cafés. The resort of Newquay is about 16 miles to the north with its spectacular surf beaches at Fistral and Watergate Bay. Padstow, with its fine selection of restaurants influenced by Rick Stein is just over 20 miles. The yachting centres of Mylor, Falmouth and St Mawes are all within easy reach of the hut. There is a watersports centre at nearby Loe Beach where you can learn to sail or windsurf. The nearby Roseland Area of Outstanding Beauty with its superb coastal walks is also a short drive away via the King Harry Ferry. Beach 9 miles.
