Welcome to Northville, an extended cottage in the town of Penzance in West Cornwall, benefitting from private parking for two this is an ideal base for families or couples. The property has three bedrooms upstairs, sleeping up to six guests, one with en-suite and a family bathroom. Downstairs is a sunroom which has the dining area, a utility room with laundry facilities, a shower and toilet, a living room which leads to the fully fitted kitchen with table and chairs ideal for sitting four. The living room is spacious with a feature fireplace not in use and views of the lovey garden. Access to the property is through the gate leading to the garden, the private parking is at the rear of the property in the car park.
The owner has used his fishing boat to construct the beams in the property, see how many maritime items you can find in the house and garden. At the top of Causeway Head, you are a short distance from shops, pubs, restaurants and cinema. A leisurely stroll will take you to Penlee and Morab gardens. Jubilee Pool is the most celebrated art deco sea water lido and geothermally heated pool, always popular year round. At the bottom of the town is the working harbour of Penzance and nearby Newlyn where you will be spoilt by the selection of fresh fish and seafood.
Transport links are excellent, you can take the train or catch the bus, ideal if you want to go to Newlyn or St Ives where parking can be difficult at certain times of the year. The railway line runs along Long Rock beach, alongside is a coastal path which doubles up as a cycle path. As you would expect, the beaches around are fantastic, Long Rock is sandy and pebbly, Marazion is long and sandy with views of the famous St Michael’s Mount, popular with water sports enthusiasts. When the tide is out you can walk along the causeway to the garden restaurant and castle at the Mount it is well worth a trip. After busy days out, come back and relax and enjoy the quiet, there is nothing better than sitting in the garden enjoying the night skies. If you don’t want to eat out, you will find everything you need in the kitchen, the large double oven is ideal for catering, it will just be a choice of whether to eat al fresco or inside!!
