As well as the extensive southwest coast path, Perranporth Dunes are an excellent place to let them run safely. Just a few miles along the coast are the coastal villages of Crantock and Holywell Bay, both with beautiful beaches. Porth Joke is also worth a visit, this is a dog friendly beach, and you could be lucky enough to visit when the wild poppies bloom here, usually between May & June. The popular seaside town of Newquay is less than 20 minutes away by car, here you will find the Blue Reef Aquarium, Newquay Zoo and numerous sandy beaches, including the famous surfing beach of Fistral. Newquay is also home to concrete waves, a popular outdoor skate park and also a trampoline park. If you want to explore other parts of Cornwall, you have easy access to the main A30 and within easy reach by car you will find the well-known Eden Project as well as spectacular Saint Michaels Mount and the Lands’ End Peninsula.
