The Pad

The Pad, wonderfully named and offering modern features with a nautical charm, has all you need for the ideal break in one of Cornwall’s best known harbour towns, Padstow, which is a leisurely 10 minute walk away. Whether you wish to explore the beaches, villages, coastline and coves, or just relax and unwind, The Pad accommodates both with ease. Many of the features are expertly hand crafted, including the dining room wall, bathroom wall, bedside lights, and the super lobster pot unit! The inviting living room has ample seating for six, with two sofas and single chair. The stunning electric fire here provides fantastic heat and light and creates a space you may well find hard to leave if the weather outside is unpredictable. The dining room provides space for six and sliding doors lead onto your private patio, with picnic style bench where you can enjoy a meal or favourite tipple whilst exchanging tales of your day. The excellently equipped kitchen, with lots of space, is thoughtfully presented. Upstairs you will find two good sized bedrooms, one with TV and both with sumptuous double beds along with a single room which sleeps one in a bunk-bed format. The spacious family bathroom boasts lovely wooden tones and has an excellent shower cubicle.
Nestled alongside the Camel estuary, Padstow, famous for seafood cuisine is just a short walk away. Offering a friendly welcome, this is a popular harbour town. The famous Camel Trail runs from here to Bodmin, introducing you to some of the most beautiful sights in Cornwall. Stretching 18 miles, you can hire a bicycle and take in the wonders, or take a leisurely stroll. 30 minutes by car brings you to the stunning beaches of Rock and Polzeath, with golden sands, breath taking scenery and much more to explore, whilst just 4 miles away is the charming and quiet Long Cove Beach. There is golf nearby and a pub within a mile.
