Welcome to Crantock Lodge, nestled within a quiet part of Crantock, a beautiful village with its own National Trust beach, just 2 miles from the energetic town of Newquay. The beach with its swathe of golden sand is backed by dunes and is popular with families and watersports enthusiasts alike.
Parking on your private driveway, you enter the house and are greeted by a bright and airy space, following throughout the property. The open-plan living area is the hub, with a superbly equipped, sweeping kitchen with hot water tap, wine cooler and breakfast area, large dining table with eight chairs, and a relaxing area with twin chairs, sofa and large Smart TV. Doors lead out onto your enclosed garden consisting of a patio and lawned area, with very comfortable corner-style seating. There is a superb hot water shower to the side of the house, ideal for washing down wetsuits, paddle or surf boards after a relaxing day at the beach.
Back inside there is a separate living room, great for relaxing after a busy day of adventures, with inviting corner sofa and further Smart TV. There is also a useful utility room, large downstairs cloakroom and a cosy snug/den for the little ones to relax and enjoy their own space, with board games and books. Upstairs, the neutral décor with subtle reminders of surf and sea reveal four good sized bedrooms. The master bedroom boasts a Juliet balcony with glimpses of the sea on the horizon.
Newquay boasts many of the most magnificent beaches and cliff top vistas in the county, as well as a plethora of restaurants, pubs and bars, surf shops and attractions, such as a zoo and all-weather Blue Reef Aquarium. The South West Coast Path is a joy to behold, with breath-taking scenery at every step, whilst the harbour and ancient Huer’s Hut are well worth a visit. There are a selection of pubs and cafés within walking distance, and a takeaway fish and chip shop a short drive.
