The town here has both a vintage steam railway and chilling Bodmin Jail attraction, offering an insight of life behind bars in the 19th century.
To the south-west, the St. Agnes Heritage Coast boasts breath-taking vistas whilst the city of Truro, with its magnificent cathedral and array of amenities, is great for an afternoon of retail therapy! A trip south-east takes you to the ancient coastal town of Looe, famed for it’s historic links to smuggling long ago, whilst delightful Polperro has many tales and stories to tell.
