Cinders Loft is a stunning property on the edge of Illogan with far-reaching rural views. The glorious lifeguard patrolled beaches of Porthtowan, Portreath and Gwithian are a short drive away. You will experience golden sands extending off to the distance and some of the best surf conditions in the country. The stunning woodlands at Tehidy Country Park and Manningham Woods are a dog walkers paradise. With great access to the A30, the rest of Cornwall’s tourist destinations are within easy reach, whether you are looking for quaint fishing towns, awesome beaches, dramatic walks or quintessential Cornish monuments like St Michaels Mount or the Eden Project.
Porthtowan has one of Cornwall’s finest surfing waves. Producing good waves at all states of the tide. It is not for the faint-hearted, and beginners should be careful. An excellent surf school operates from the beach. Gwithian and Hayle, dominated by the spectacular 3 miles of golden sands that stretch south from Gwithian Towans and Godrevy Lighthouse. A quite stunning beach that offers opportunities for sunbathing and surfing. When the wind is blowing, watch out for the windsurfers, particularly in the waves at the beach’s northern end. This is one of the best windsurfing spots in the country. In the town of Hayle, Paradise Park is always popular with both adults and kids with its fantastic collection of rare birds and animals.
