Ocean View is the perfect Cornish cottage in a beautiful fishing village. Sit in full sun on the terrace to the front of the property with a good read or the morning papers. You can relax in the light filled "conservatory" dining area of the kitchen and watch the world go by with a morning cup of coffee or glass of wine later in the day.
Portloe is one of those quintessential little Cornish fishing villages, beautifully positioned around a stunning little cove and harbour. Like many such villages, smuggling played a large part in Portloe’s history with many tales of cat and mouse games played between locals and the authorities! In 1824, the problem became so bad that Customs ordered the construction of a Watch House, boathouse and slipway in a vain attempt to deter the illicit trade. Beach 2½ miles.
