This spacious ground floor apartment is housed within an impressive Lakeland stone building, just off Ambleside Town Centre. One of just a handful of apartments, Libby’s Place benefits from its own allocated parking space, taking away any hassle so you can make the most of your holiday.
Located just 200 yards from the vibrant town centre of Ambleside, you can leave your car behind and stroll to the bars, restaurants and shops on your doorstep. Sleeping up to four guests, you will find a kingsize bed in the master bedroom with comfortable furnishings, tasteful décor and plenty of storage for your belongings. The second bedroom features twin beds making this property ideal for couples and families. The open plan living space makes the apartment an excellent choice, with high spec appliances and comfortable furnishings throughout. You’ll also find a handy utility room housing the washing machine and dishwasher, as well as heated dryers for boots and clothes. There are two bathrooms, the first with separate bath and shower cubicle and the second with shower cubicle only which allows for privacy during your stay.
Ambleside is a real tourist magnet with arguably some of the best choices for dining out. There’s a great choice of gastro pubs, café’s, delis and independent coffee shops as well as takeaway food and fine dining options. You’ll find plenty of high street brands and in particular many outdoor shops selling the latest walking and hiking gear. Here you are only half a mile from Lake Windermere where you can take a cruise on a traditional steamer to various destinations throughout the year. If you love the outdoors there are many walking, climbing and cycling routes nearby including many tourist attractions for all ages. To the South you’re just a 10-minute drive from Windermere and to the North, 10 minutes from Grasmere and about 20 minutes from Keswick. Not to mention the natural beauty of the surrounding fells and lakes within easy reach, all in all making the perfect setting for your next Lake District adventure. Beach 24¾ miles.
