The Bothy

The Bothy is a charming, character barn conversion adjoining the owner’s home. The living accommodation on the ground floor is open plan and has a cosy wood burner in a sandstone inglenook, an oak staircase leads to a bedroom with en-suite shower. Access to the cottage is through the owner’s conservatory, which guests are welcome to use and outside is a delightful cottage garden. Situated in the pretty village of Stainton, which benefits from very easy access to the M6 and is only 10 minutes from Ullswater. There is a popular hotel and a pub within a few yards of the cottage, with a farm shop close by and a wealth of amenities in Penrith, two miles away. Shop 2 miles, pub and restaurant 50 yards.
