You enter the property into the spacious kitchen/diner which is well equipped, modern and clean, and makes for a welcoming social area where chef and guests can enjoy recanting the day’s events.
Moving through into the living room, which is large and modern, it offers lovely views of Queen’s Park through the large full width windows. Guests may be able to watch a local cricket or football match during their stay, and it is a short walk to the new children’s play area.
The first floor offers a family bathroom which has both a bath and a walk-in shower. There is also the large master bedroom, with views over the park and surrounding fells.
The second floor hosts a twin bedroom and a single bedroom which completes the accommodation. All bedrooms have USB ports.
The cottage is ideally situated for easy access to Windermere village centre. Windermere has a beautiful blend of independent shops, pubs and restaurants. It’s also the home of Lakeland Ltd, the kitchenware chain, and has their head office and flagship store. There is plenty to do in the local area with Bowness-on-Windermere and Lake Windermere within 1 mile from the village.
If your passion is walking, cycling, water sports, shopping or simply the enjoyment of world class stunning scenery, it’s all on offer in and around Windermere. Local attractions include the Beatrix Potter Attraction, lake cruises and ferries, steam trains and railways, aquariums and wildlife parks, theatres and cinemas, stately homes and gardens, and many more things besides, there is truly something for everyone in the Lake District.
