Laurel Bank Lodge

This one bedroom contemporary styled Lodge is situated in the pretty village of Motherby, on the fringe of the Lake District National Park. The lodge is cosy with underfloor heating, and an ornamental fireplace houses the electric wood burner. Motherby has the benefit of easy access from the M6 and is centrally placed and a short drive to visit hotspots like Keswick, Ullswater, the Eden Valley and Penrith and the remaining Northern Lakes.
There is a farm shop nearby and a pub in the neighbouring village of Penruddock, less than a mile away. Nearby Greystoke has an outdoor swimming pool, stores and pub. More amenities are found in the bustling market towns of Keswick and Penrith.
Experience Lakeland at its best with every kind of outdoor activity on hand. Aira Force and Ullswater steamers, quad biking, horse riding, water sports all nearby as well as many lovely walks from the house on bridleways with stunning views to Blencathra, the Pennines and Lake District fells. Travel easily north to visit charming villages and historic sites in the Borders.
