Meadow View is ideally situated in a quiet cobbled courtyard in the centre of the idyllic village of Hawkshead. It has some original features such as wooden beams, original stone walls and a fireplace. It has been thoughtfully furnished and very well equipped for your comfort and convenience. The property is presented on three floors, with the first floor being an open plan kitchen, diner, living room with a large picture window with views of Latterbarrow and the surrounding fells. The ground floor has a double bedroom with kingsize bed, family bathroom and a laundry room. The second floor has a double bedroom with its own bathroom with large shower.
Hawkshead is in the heart of Beatrix Potter land and is close to many of the famous sights such as Hill Top and the Beatrix Potter Gallery in the village itself. It is only a few miles from both Coniston Water and Lake Windermere, where you can enjoy boat trips and many watersports. There is walking and biking from the doorstep as well as mountain biking trails in the neighbouring Grizedale Forest. The village itself is full of charm, with quaint shops and cafes and a choice of four traditional pubs, all serving lunch and evening meals. Shop and restaurant 100 yards, pubs 50 yards.
