Recently renovated and new to the market for 2021. Stone Arthur sleeps up to twelve guests in six comfortable bedrooms. On the second floor you’ll find a loft-style bedroom with super kingsize bed and en-suite shower with underfloor heating and heated towel rail. The first floor has a range of bedroom types offering just the flexibility you need when planning a large get-together. A spacious bedroom with super kingsize bed, one with kingsize bed, another with a double and the fourth with bunk beds, suitable for adults and children. Also on the first floor are two good sized shower rooms with heated towel rails and underfloor heating. The final bedroom is on the ground floor with wider doors and a double bed. The bathroom on the ground floor has been adapted for disabled access featuring a wet room, higher toilet seat, grab rails and lower sink unit. Perfect for those who are less mobile or guests who require facilities all on the ground floor. The living room comes complete with plenty of easy seating and a fantastic entertainment package including a projector with Smart TV features so you can access all your favourite apps including Netflix, Disney and Prime. There is a wood burner which is perfect for a cosy night in. You can draw the blackout curtains and create a cinematic experience with surround sound and gather all the family around. Just off the living room is a games room with Xbox and TV, great for those little ones and teens wanting their own space. The hub of the house must be the spacious, open-plan, kitchen/dining room, with a large dining table for twelve and a high spec kitchen, you’ll love drinking and chatting and catching up with loved ones in this fabulous space. The angled skylights flood the whole area with daylight and it’s just perfect for preparing a feast for all your friends. For you convenience, the property has a dedicated workspace, a self-check-in facility, a hairdryer and an iron.
Kirkby-in-Furness is a village near the coast located on the Furness peninsula. It is close to The Lake District National Park, about 5 miles north west of Ulverston and 8 miles south of Coniston Water. This pretty village offers a village shop and post-office and a couple of village pubs within walking distance. Ulverston is a busy town with many shops, bars, and a couple of well known supermarkets, plus a great choice of restaurants and a golf course. Kirkby-in-Furness is a great base from which to explore The Lake District National Park and the West Cumbrian Coast. If you like walking, climbing, hiking, cycling or sightseeing, then a short drive into The National Park is an outdoor-lover’s playground. For family fun, try the La’al Ratty, a miniature steam railway running from Ravenglass to Dalegarth. Muncaster Castle offers daily activities including mini golf, beautiful gardens and falconry displays.
